Cowloe Class

Welcome to Cowloe Class! We are a mixed Year 5/6 class with a passion for learning and strive to always do our best. The class teacher Mrs Tindall is supported by Mrs Brougham-Pickard and Mrs Semmens. In Cowloe, we love learning and make use of our amazing outdoor spaces at every opportunity. One of the highlights of the year is Beach school where we can learn how to surf and so much more! 

Reading, Writing and Maths opportunities are carefully planned so that all children are engaged and can succeed. Children enjoy choosing their own challenges and are encouraged to reflect independently on their learning. How to develop a growth mindset is embedded in all aspects of learning and the children focus on their Resilience, Reflectiveness, Resourcefulness, Teamwork and Respect. All children are encouraged to recognise their own full potential and feel happy, safe and nurtured in school. Year 6 children learn to be more independent and take on more responsibility by becoming House Captains and other important roles within the school.
