A warm welcome to Aire Class where we love to play and learn with smiles and laughter as much as we can! You can find us learning together in our lovely classroom, playing games in our learning lane, adventuring in Christopher’s garden or sometimes exploring further afield - we are often at the beach or in the woods because we love Beach and Forest School!
Our classroom is full of lovely things to do: we can get creative at the Tinker Table with junk modelling, painting or play dough. We can build with lots of different construction sets. We love our Book Nook which has lots of brilliant stories, puppets and props to help us role play. Our home corner is full of interesting objects that we can use in our play - we might be at the vet's, the doctor's or somewhere quite different!
Our outdoor area is wonderful! We have a huge sandpit, a doodle den where we can draw and write, a mud kitchen, three swings and a secret den. Not to mention our Faraway Forest which we love adventuring in and our mini motorway for our trikes, bikes and scooters.
Each half term we dive into a new topic which brings all the areas of our curriculum together in a meaningful and memorable way. We love going on outings linked to our topic!
Our adults plan exciting, hands-on learning activities for us - sometimes these are indoors and sometimes they are outdoors.
Other times our learning takes sudden, unforeseen and exciting new directions as we follow each other’s special interests. There is always plenty of time to explore what brings us joy while we play, learn and try out new things.
We all take care of each other in Aire Class and help each with our learning because learning together is fun!
